We took the kids to Lee Metcalf Wildlife Refuge for a field trip today. We wanted to look at different trees and talk about the fall changes. It was a great time!
It was gorgeous out there today – lovely fall colors.
Here’s another shot of the views…such a lovely place!
The kids had so much fun investigating…
Dale was taking bark rubbings for part of his Science assignment – and fighting to get out of the trees…
Everyone had fun on our field trip. We’re going to go back in the spring and see what’s new!
